Human Resource Development
If you’re a people person,
this could be a great career field.
Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a concentration in Human Resource Development
The human resource field provides a growing range of opportunities for those who enjoy working with people. Depending on the size of your company, you could be in charge of hiring employees, managing healthcare plans, handling payroll, and/or making sure your company follows all worker health and safety regulations.
In addition, new kinds of human resource specialists will be needed. Companies will soon be hiring more employment mediators, for example, to ensure better negotiations between labor and management. Opportunities are also predicted to grow for international human resource managers and human resource information systems specialists.
Opportunities will be best for those who have a college degree and have earned certification.
