Registered Nursing – Certification
Our registered nursing programs are designed to help our graduates successfully pass their national licensing examination, known as the National Council Licensure Examination, or NCLEX-RN. Other eligibility requirements for licensure vary by State. Contact your state's board of nursing for details. Successful completion of the NCLEX-RN examination allows the graduate to use the title Registered Nurse (RN).

Our curriculum features hands-on clinicals and an externship that will give you solid experience in your field.
Practical Nursing – Certification
Our Practical Nursing program prepares graduates to take the required licensing examination, known as the NCLEX-PN. This computerized exam is developed and administered by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing to make sure practical nurses have sufficient knowledge in four major Client Needs categories: safe and effective care environment, health promotion and maintenance, psychosocial integrity, and physiological integrity.
Eligibility for licensure may vary by state; for details, contact your state's board of nursing. Successful completion of the NCLEX-PN examination allows the graduate to use the title Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
In addition, graduates of the Herzing University Practical Nursing program are eligible to sit for the Association of Practical Nurse Education and Services (NAPNES) Certification in Pharmacology, a national credential issued by NAPNES for practical nurses.
