Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice (BSCJ) with No Declared Minor or Concentration


This program prepares students with the necessary skills and academic knowledge for advancement in entry-level positions in various law enforcement, fire service, and industrial security enterprises. These career opportunities may be in areas such as public safety, security, government agency, diplomatic security, and border patrol. Course material in this program includes criminal psychology, responding to domestic terrorism, public event planning and emergency management, as well as political issues that affect criminal justice policy.

The average length of time for a student taking a full course load is nine semesters. A minimum of 125 semester credit hours is required for graduation. Credits from other accredited institutions will be reviewed for transferability.
