Many Herzing University students are Adult Learners. They’ve lived in the real world, and as a result have real-world responsibilities to tend to while advancing their education. Whether working full-time jobs, taking care of a family, or both, Adult Learners are not able to put their lives on hold to attend school.

It can also be challenging for adults to go back into student mode. The typical Herzing student has been out of school five-to-ten years or more, and many new students are worried about making the transition. They wonder it they’ll be able to keep up with the class, and if they will have access to help when they need it.

I would not have this job if it weren't for the efforts of Jennifer DeVerney and the team of professionals in the career services department of Herzing University. They looked in places that I had not thought of and the response from my employer was more than pleased. They were very impressed at the knowledge I had to begin my career.
