History of Herzing University
We talk the talk (because we've walked the walk!)
The first Herzing campus was founded in 1965 by Henry Herzing, a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy (Senior Missile Test Officer, White Sands). Beginning as a computer training school, the Herzing University system has grown to include campuses in eight U.S. states plus the Online Campus, which is headquartered along with the Herzing Administrative Offices in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The Chief Academic Officer of the University, Dr. Bill Getter, is a retired Air Force officer. For over a decade, Dr. Getter taught in and managed degree programs for military members online and on military bases throughout the world.
With graduate and undergraduate educational programs in Public Safety, Business, Technology, Healthcare and Design, Herzing's career-focused curricula are designed to give students real-world skills and knowledge so they are ready to begin working in their field of study upon graduation.
One-on-One Instruction
Herzing University classes are kept small to ensure access to your instructors when you need help.
