Military Students

As a servicemember, there are many programs available to help you pay for college. Our Educational Funding Advisors can put you in touch with the appropriate military contacts to learn more about the different funding programs for which you may qualify.

Military Student Grant!

You’re serving your country, and for that we salute you! To show our appreciation, Herzing University has extended a Military Appreciation Grant specifically for you.

Covers up to 20% of tuition

Depending on your academic program, you may receive more than 20%!

Plus, books are included for undergraduate classes.

Eligibility: This grant is extended to all servicemembers currently serving in any branch of the United States Armed Forces including National Guard and Reserves who are pursuing a diploma or degree program at Herzing University. Proof of affiliation is required at time of application. Books for graduate classes are not included in tuition.

Tuition Assistance

The Armed Forces Tuition Assistance (TA) program is designed to cover up to 100% of the tuition for eligible Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, and Coast Guard active-duty servicemembers. Each branch has its own criteria for eligibility and a limit to how much TA a student may use in a Fiscal Year; please check with your Education Office on base for eligibility and program details.

The Montgomery GI Bill can be used to ‘top up’ the TA benefit and cover the difference between the TA benefit and tuition. For more information regarding eligibility, visit www.militaryta.com.

Veterans Educational Assistance Program (VEAP)

If you entered active duty for the first time between December 31, 1976 and July 1, 1985, you may be eligible for VEAP benefits. View the pdf below to see if you quality.
