Many Herzing University students are Adult Learners. They’ve lived in the real world, and as a result have real-world responsibilities to tend to while advancing their education. Whether working full-time jobs, taking care of a family, or both, Adult Learners are not able to put their lives on hold to attend school.

It can also be challenging for adults to go back into student mode. The typical Herzing student has been out of school five-to-ten years or more, and many new students are worried about making the transition. They wonder it they’ll be able to keep up with the class, and if they will have access to help when they need it.

Meet Adult Learner, Peggy McRail

I actually shopped around quite a bit and came back to Herzing University because my daughter actually graduated from Herzing when it was Lakeland back in the 80s. She had three job offers before she was even done with her internship and I thought that would be the program for me because I really needed to get my foot in the door and I knew they were going to help me.
