Many Herzing University students are Adult Learners. They’ve lived in the real world, and as a result have real-world responsibilities to tend to while advancing their education. Whether working full-time jobs, taking care of a family, or both, Adult Learners are not able to put their lives on hold to attend school.

It can also be challenging for adults to go back into student mode. The typical Herzing student has been out of school five-to-ten years or more, and many new students are worried about making the transition. They wonder it they’ll be able to keep up with the class, and if they will have access to help when they need it.

Meet Adult Learner, Charity Sasnett

I currently work as an office manager and I chose to attend Herzing University because I needed to attend classes at night... and because the Associate of Science in Legal Assisting/Paralegal and the Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies are approved by the American Bar Association.

What I like most about Herzing is the very friendly and caring faculty and instructors. They care about the students and our educational goals.
