The Herzing University Aeronautics program is designed to provide those interested in aviation a formal education in the theory and hands-on skill of flying aircraft. General education and theory-based aviation classes will be held at the Herzing University campus (some classes will also be available for online delivery), and flight training is provided through a license agreement with the New Orleans Flight Academy.

This program prepares students with the necessary skills and academic knowledge for entry-level positions in commercial aviation. Students in the Professional Aeronautics program will learn entry-level skills related to those areas of the professional pilot profession and will be able to sit for the FAA pilot certification.
