Combining medical office administration with direct patient care, this career makes you an integral part of a chiropractic office.
Chiropractors rely on technicians for assistance with running the chiropractic office as well as working with patients. Typical duties for chiropractic technicians include patient registration and scheduling, managing chiropractic equipment and supplies, handling medical billing and coding, answering phones, verifying insurance, recording vital signs, and teaching patients to follow the chiropractic plans and goals for recovery and good health. Technicians may also take x-rays, assist chiropractors during exams, and conduct re-exams for patients who receive continual care.
