Network Systems (DNS)

Start your career in IT with a diploma in Computer Networking & Security Technology

Computer Networking & Security specialists are among the most sought after IT professionals. Network and systems administrators manage computer networks and systems. They make sure that the links between computers, software, servers, and printers and other equipment are working properly. It is the responsibility of network and systems administrators to keep the flow of information between computers smooth, safe, and effortless for end users — people who use the individual computers that are part of the larger network. In our modern era, no business can reasonably function without a network administrator, network technicians, or computer support specialists. Almost all employers – from large corporations, to family-owned startups, to growing companies, to non-profit organizations – have networking positions that need to be filled.

More and more emphasis today has been directed to the security of data and information stored within an organization’s network. Technology has shrunk the world we live in, meaning that any business needs to have effective communication with customers and vendors all over the country and the world. New technology has also increased risks – viruses, spam, hackers, and corporate espionage have required organizations to hire network administrators that are specialists in the area of computer security.
