5 Podcasts for Your Morning Commute

Podcasts can be especially useful for students on the go. In fact, 22 percent of podcast listeners tune in to their favorite shows while driving.

Everyone loves a good story, especially those that are entertaining and help us learn something new. By streaming podcasts on your phone, tablet or computer, you can tune in to thousands of stories from people around the world every week. You can get insights and tips that can help you be more successful at work or at school, or simply explore some of life’s unanswered questions.

Podcasts can be especially useful for students on the go. In fact, 22 percent of podcast listeners tune in to their favorite shows while driving. Plug in your headphones or your AUX cord on your morning commute and dive deep into the world of politics, technology, business or whatever topic may grab your interest – there’s a podcast for everything.

1. TED Radio Hour

Each episode of NPR’s “TED Radio Hour” is based on a popular TED Talk and features insight from renowned speakers on innovation, leadership, technology and more. 2. Planet Money

If you need to catch up on what’s going on in the business world and learn why it matters to you, “Planet Money” is the place to go. The hosts of this podcast supplement their explanation of economic news and trends with expert insights and stories about people just like you.

3. The Daily Boost

“The Daily Boost” provides just what it promises. This weekly show is designed to motivate you to achieve your goals. Episodes on networking, beating procrastination and positive thinking can help you find success and balance in your personal and professional life.

4. Listen Money Matters

5. How to Do Everything

If there are questions you’ve always wanted answers to, you just may find them by listening to this podcast. On NPR’S “How to Do Everything,” no question is too big or too small.
