How an MBA program can help you and your community

Orlando, Florida is a city with a lot of possibilities for job-seekers.

The Orlando area saw one of the highest job growth rates in more than 50 metropolitan areas throughout the U.S. in 2015, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. Already, more than 50 leading companies and organizations have major operations in the Orlando area, including Deloitte and Voxx International.

Furthermore, Foreign Direct Investment Magazine recently listed Orlando on the list of the top 10 “American Cities of the Future,” based on the city’s high-quality infrastructure. This rating is based on the expectation that more companies will move to the area in the coming years.

The result: More high-salaried jobs are coming to the Orlando area along with enticing benefits packages to attract and retain strong candidates.

With today’s marketplace evolving into an increasingly sophisticated atmosphere, more and more employers are seeking out trustworthy employees with advanced-level knowledge.  With your MBA, you will develop a strong skill set of business knowledge that will bolster your professional skills and advance your career.  This degree can open all kinds of doors, especially within the Orlando community.

What does this mean for Orlando residents? These companies are also looking for qualified workers to fill new executive positions. That’s one reason Herzing University’s Orlando Campus is starting an on-campus MBA to serve students – many of them working adults – who want to take that next step within a corporation or start their businesses.

Orlando residents have much to gain from this program. As an MBA student at Herzing University, you can:

•Create a schedule that allows you to continue to work full-time while you attend school.
•Apply what you learn in class to your current job, and contribute to your professional development before you’ve even earned your MBA.
•Network with other professionals in the area and strengthen your ties to the business community.

The result: With Herzing, you can pursue your personal and professional goals without putting your job or family on hold.

This is all good news for the Orlando area. Job growth is integral to the local economy. Herzing’s MBA program will help build the talent pool in the Orlando area, attracting, even more, companies in the years to come.
