The Registrar’s Office: Your Home for Student Success

The staff at your university’s registrar office can help answer your questions about scheduling and academics.

Planning out your entire academic schedule can be intimidating. How do you find the right classes? If you’re balancing work and school, how do you create a course load that won’t be overwhelming? What if you need to take time off? The staff at your university’s registrar office can help you answer all of these questions.

According to the U.S. National Center for Education Statistics, approximately 20.2 million students were expected to attend American colleges and universities in 2015. At Herzing University, we have new classes starting each month, with new students enrolling year-round. To make sure our students can effectively meet their academic goals, the Registrar’s Office is always prepared to partner with new students to help set them up for success.

The Registrar’s Office is a support service that assists students throughout their careers at Herzing, beginning at enrollment all the way through graduation. One of the most important services our office provides is scheduling. The moment a student is accepted, we are available to assist him or her in completing a schedule for the entire program of study, ensuring each student gets the courses required in order to graduate on time.

More importantly, we may be able to create a custom schedule that meets your personal needs and academic goals.

Do you need a lighter course load for a semester or two? Are you planning to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in three years? Are you reenrolling after completing coursework at another institution? These are subjects we deal with every day, and it’s our job to help organize your academics in a way that makes sense for each individual student.

Before we can complete your schedule, new students need to complete the enrollment process in its entirety, including submitting the following items:

  • Proof of high school graduation
  • Official/unofficial college transcripts
  • Military transcripts
  • Applicable prior learning assessment documents
  • Completion of all applicable entrance testing
  • If in a master’s program, a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution

For more information about completing your enrollment and starting classes, refer to the academic catalogs, available on the Herzing website. We’re always here to help!
