Leading to a Diploma in General Studies, the Marquette Horizons at Herzing University program provides an online first year experience to potential Marquette students through a partnership with Herzing University.

Course Details

Through this program, you will have the opportunity to take 8 courses over Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 terms learning from Herzing and Marquette Instructors.

All coursework in your first year will be taken online at Herzing University through our Canvas learning management system –a modern, intuitive, easy to navigate interface for our online learners.

All courses are 8-week courses that were selected to ensure success throughout your college experience at Herzing and to prepare you for a transition to Marquette to complete your bachelor’s degree.

Five courses will be taught by our Herzing faculty. Three courses from Marquette’s Core Curriculum** will be taught by Marquette faculty.

All coursework is transferable to Marquette.

Curriculum is designed to prepare you for academically rigorous studies at Marquette while also ensuring you are on-track to graduate with a Marquette degree in four total years.
