Sterile Processing seemed like a new and interesting career path, and I wanted to make a change in my life. That’s what led me to attend this program at Herzing.
Though the program was great, I did hit a hiccup where I almost failed. I suffer from depression, and it got bad during my studies. It resulted in me falling behind in my work to the point where I thought I wouldn’t be able to dig myself out.
Thankfully though, my teachers started reaching out to me and offering to help me whenever they could. That lit a fire under me, and I utilized them to buckle down and truly get caught up on my work. Thank you so much to everybody who helped – I truly don’t think I would have made it without you!
Though I struggled, I can truly say that Herzing was there for me to find success. The school was accommodating and helped pull me up when I needed help.
If any future students are reading this, here’s some advice: don’t give up! Always keep pushing; there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel!
