Located in the northwest suburbs of the Twin Cities, our Minneapolis Campus has prepared students for dynamic careers in technology, business and the growing field of health care. Year in and year out, our graduates have exceeded the expectations of employers in the area and throughout the U.S. Our focused degree programs concentrate on skills necessary to succeed every day in the fields of drafting, design, business and health care.
The Minneapolis campus was formed from two schools, the Minneapolis Drafting School and the Lakeland Medical Dental Academy. The Minneapolis Drafting School was founded in 1961 and established a reputation as a premier provider of highly skilled drafters in the Twin Cities area. In June of 2000, it became part of the Herzing Educational System, which operates eight campuses in the United States, including an online campus. In May of 2002, the Lakeland Medical Dental Academy, a long standing leader in allied health education in Minneapolis, became part of Herzing College Minneapolis. Now known as The Lakeland School of Healthcare, it offers diploma and degree programs in Medical Billing & Coding, Medical Assisting, Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene.
