While I was exploring other online schools, I ultimately chose Herzing because of the amazing things I had heard about them. They also had what seemed like a great Healthcare Administration program, and since I love helping people, it felt like a fitting career choice. Once I decided that’s what I wanted to study, I jumped right in.
While I had a great experience, there were challenges along the way. The biggest one was maintaining my studies while taking care of twins. I struggled at times, but overall, I pushed through for them: they were my main motivation to stay successful!
During my education, I found that my professors and Career Development coaches were a big help in guiding me. Whenever I needed anything, they were there to assist me, and I’m so grateful for that.
I found every course to be valuable and would say that Medical Billing and Coding was a very interesting program overall. The main thing that surprised me about it was how influential math is and how often it’s needed. Thankfully, I feel prepared for that portion of my career now!
It was hard work, but worth it! I’m proud to say that I made it on the Dean's and President's lists my entire time pursuing my degree.
Even though I just became a grad, I already have a few job opportunities lined up for me. I plan on thriving in my career in Healthcare Administration and can’t wait to get started!
