In addition to teaching core program skills, we also focus on critical soft skills required by organizations. Based on feedback from our community partners, employers, clinical sites and workforce centers, Herzing University has developed a framework of behaviors and attributes that support a successful and meaningful career. Our unique soft-skills training, P.R.I.C.E. of Success ensures each student develops critical qualities in Professionalism, Respect, Integrity, Caring and Engagement.
Our graduates practice and are evaluated on their ability to work in teams and groups, speak publicly, and manage conflicts. Being technically adept isn’t enough in the workplace; professionals need to work well in the office environment or their contributions can be limited. I have hired Herzing University graduates for dental assistant and dental hygienist positions at Aspen Dental. I always expect high quality employees from Herzing. Their graduates have a high pass rate on the board exams.
