I was looking to start a new career, and that’s when I found Herzing. While I knew that I wanted to work in healthcare, I also knew that I didn’t want to deal with blood. Thankfully, I found Medical Billing and Coding which allowed me to work in an ever-changing medical career – all without blood!
While attending Herzing, I loved the flexible classes and timeline provided that fit my needs. All the professors were very understanding and communicative, which is always a big plus.
Throughout my studies, I struggled the most with time management. I had to set reminders for myself and spent so many hours a day doing schoolwork and working toward finding a balance. It’s possible to do if you work hard enough at it!
My classes were long enough to allow finishing them but also weren’t overly drawn out. Without the knowledge from classes like Medical Terminology and Anatomy, Medical Coding would be much more difficult.
After graduation, I plan to obtain my certification and keep working toward my future.
