I wanted to do something different and I had an opportunity to make a change in my life. I had already worked in the medical field as a nurse for 17 years, but I wanted to get off the medical floor and possibly find a desk job. I didn’t want to leave the medical field entirely, so I thought I would try medical billing. When I did my research on different schools, Herzing just seemed like the right choice for me.
All the instructors and student counselors that I had were awesome and helped keep me motivated and maintain my GPA. Matthias Scarpaci was wonderful helping me out and keeping me focused. I have applied every little bit of knowledge that I learned at Herzing in my career. I plan on possibly returning to complete my bachelor’s.
