Thanks to the initaitve of Kelsey Chico, a 13-year-old Girl Scout working toward her Silver Award, a room in the Center for Women and Families of the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida has been converted to a Wellness Office. Now, instead of visiting the emergency room for minor illnesses, clients have access to health screenings and workshops in the Center for Women and Families that is staffed by volunteers, including nursing students from Herzing's Orlando Campus. An outstanding accomplishments by an amazing young lady!
