Herzing Madison is excited to welcome new full-time nursing professor Melissa Schaetzka to the faculty. Schaetzka started her career in nursing with an ASN before later completing her BSN and MSN. She has worked in acute care for 20 years, most recently as a director of acute care in the ICU. Schaetzka has taught the Wisconsin Nurse Residency Program for many years and has made the transition to nursing education, teaching both clinically and in the classroom.
