Jake Schuld, a graduate of Herzing University-Akron’s BSN program, was recently honored with a DAISY Award by Cleveland Clinic, where he works as a registered nurse.
The DAISY Award is an international program that rewards and celebrates the compassionate and skillful care given by nurses every day. It was founded by Mark and Bonnie Barnes, who wanted to thank the nurses who provided exceptional care to their son when he was hospitalized for an auto-immune disease. DAISY stands for Diseases Attacking the Immune SYstem.
Cleveland Clinic collaborates with the DAISY Foundation to provide ongoing recognition of their nurses and the care they provide to patients and their families.
Congratulations, Jake!
