Four students from Herzing University’s Kenosha, Madison and Brookfield campuses were invited to attend the Wisconsin Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (WAICU) Student Ambassador Day at the Wisconsin State Capitol building in April. Students had the opportunity to meet with elected officials at the event and share how Wisconsin Grants have made a difference in their lives and education.
The Student Ambassador Program is a civic engagement opportunity for students at Wisconsin’s private, nonprofit colleges and universities. Student ambassadors raise awareness of the importance of Wisconsin Grants in their campus communities and among their elected officials.
The members of the 2018-19 Herzing University WAICU Student Ambassador Team are:
- Shawna Hines, Herzing University-Kenosha
- Yolanda Hudson, Herzing University-Kenosha
- McKindi Heiman, Herzing University-Madison
- Maidoua Vang, Herzing University-Brookfield
Herzing University is proud to be a member of the WAICU network. Congratulations to our new ambassadors!
