Thank you for joining Herzing University’s CE Spotlight: Incivility in Academia session by Cozi Bagley, DNP, RNC-OB, CNE. This is a continuing education event for nurses who are interested in expanding their knowledge for professional practice.

This presentation is part of the ongoing CE Spotlight program offering continuing education and nursing contact hours throughout the year.

By attending this presentation, participants were prepared to meet the following objectives:

  • Examine the link between stress and incivility within higher education
  • Compare student and faculty behaviors related to incivility in academia
  • Choose strategies to enhance a civil teaching and learning environment that fosters a culture of civility

Educational Disclosures

  • To earn nursing contact hours, participants must attend live sessions or view self-study on-demand recordings of the entire learning activity and complete the participant evaluation/reflection survey.
  • This nursing continuing professional development activity was approved by the Wisconsin Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
  • Nursing contact hours for self-study on-demand recording are available from 4/13/23 until 3/8/25. No certificates will be issued after this date.
