WASHINGTON - The Association of Private Sector Colleges and Universities (APSCU) announced on March 11, 2013 that Audrey Gardner of Atlanta, Georgia will be a 2013 recipient of the GREAT (Graduate Recognition for Excellence, Achievement, and Talent) Award. APSCU’s GREAT Award honors recent graduates of private sector colleges and universities who have excelled academically and overcome great odds to achieve their educational dreams.
Lodi School District art students have new equipment, thanks to Herzing. HU donated 15 art easels thanks to the coordination of Lodi Middle School principal David Dyb and Lodi faculty member Beth Sokol, saving the system the expense of purchasing the easels for approximately $1,200. The easels will be shared equally by Lodi Elementary, Middle, and High Schools. The district was also offered about two dozen stools (valued at $500) for the Tech Education classroom.
TOLEDO, OH (July 15, 2013) Two local schools have joined forces to help make obtaining a bachelor’s degree more affordable. The presidents of Herzing University - Toledo and Northwest State Community College held a signing ceremony to announce a new P.A.C.E. program, which gives students an education option that is Progressive, Attainable, Convenient, and Economical. The collaboration offers students the best of both worlds: the cost efficiencies of a Northwest State education combined with the career-focused recognition of Herzing University.

Herzing University game development students were joined by students from five other local schools to enjoy a challenging weekend of game development while making new friends and exchanging tips and tricks. Global Game Jam is not a competition, but a challenge extended for the purpose of increasing the confidence of participants and establishing a network of professionals through idea-sharing, experimentation, and plain old fun.
Once again, the students in the Game Development Program at Madison have been recognized. The International Game Publication, Gamasutra.com, runs a series of design competitions based on various subjects related to professional game development. This past challenge was to design a series of games for the recently released Nintendo Wii-U game system.
TOLEDO, OH (June 21, 2013) - High school juniors can earn free college credit and get an early taste of campus life this summer at Herzing University in Toledo, which is offering a free technology course starting Monday, July 8.
The Herzing University Transitions program is designed to help high school seniors-to-be earn college credits while attending high school. Interested students may attend Herzing University - Toledo to take one course, tuition-free.
