Do I qualify for FWS?

To qualify for Federal Work Study, you must be enrolled in your program at least part-time.

Eligibility for the program is based on your financial need that is calculated on the FAFSA and the need for student employment at your Herzing campus.

What is Federal Work Study (FWS)?

Herzing offers part-time student employment opportunities, including on-campus employment and community service positions.

Students will be paid their Federal Work-Study earnings every two weeks. Please contact the Financial Aid Department at the campus for wage information, positions available, and more information about the Federal Work-Study program.

All students who apply for federal financial aid are required to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Are there loans other than federal loans I can use?

If federal loans aren't your thing, or you need additional funds to help cover a gap, alternative loans are another option.

Alternative loans are loans from private sources, like your bank or a national bank. Herzing has relationships with a number of banks where the funds will come directly to the school to pay for your tuition.
