A Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling is a graduate degree designed to prepare you for professional counseling practice and is the educational path toward licensure. Licensure requirements vary by state.
Our 60-credit program combines coursework in counseling theory, ethics, assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, trauma, addictions, and culturally responsive practice with supervised clinical experience.
Students also complete a 100-hour practicum and 600 hours of internship experience, giving them opportunities to apply counseling skills with clients under professional supervision.
