Whether utilizing the Federal Title IV Program by completing the U.S. Department of Education's Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or using alternative fund sources such as outside grants and scholarships, military benefits, tuition assistance or alternative lending, your Financial Aid Advisor will discuss your personal options with you to make sure that we can get the best option available to you.

The responsibility for any balance on your account is the student's. Your Financial Aid Advisor will discuss all possible payment options, including cash or credit card, employer tuition reimbursement, military benefits, or scholarships.
You can see all charges to your student account through the Student Resources Portal. Follow these steps to get there:
1- Click on "Student Records"
2- On the left-hand side, click on "Student Accounts"
3- Click on "Account Information"
4- Find "Account Details" to see your account information.
Make sure that your selected enrollment is set to "All."
Yes! You can get textbooks on your own; we call this "opting out." To do this, please contact your financial aid advisor to complete the opt-out documents. Please be aware that opting out of the textbooks can only be done between semesters and before you validate the books in your bookstore account.

After opting out, if you wish to receive your textbooks again from Herzing, we can reverse it. Please get in touch with your advisor to add the textbooks back in.
The Learner Resource Fee includes and supports the use of university equipment, the use of eBooks (or the use of textbooks when eBooks are unavailable), the learning management system (LMS), library and other learning resources, and academic and technical support services.
