I always enjoyed helping people, and that’s the main reason I decided to become a nurse. Throughout my educational experience, I had plenty of encouragement and help from my parents, teachers and classmates. This was a huge help. Overcoming challenges like finding a work/school balance would have been hard on my own so I was grateful for all the support. Thanks to them, I eventually found a good balance between work and school that helped me stay successful.
Throughout my journey, Herzing helped by providing the necessary materials I needed every step of the way. When I think of my classes, I’d say that my Medical-Surgical class was the most valuable class I attended because it challenged me the most. My current plan is to begin working in my field as soon as possible and also set a date to return to school so I can further my education!
