I had been out of school for more than 20 years when I decided to enroll at Herzing University. Herzing was very accommodating and helpful, and the faculty and staff continually motivated me while I was earning my degree. Herzing reduced my anxiety about restarting school after being out for so many years by always being there for me, no matter what I needed.
I chose the Insurance Billing and Coding program because it was a part of the healthcare industry that interests me, and there is a high demand for billing and coding specialists.
All of my courses and program experiences were valuable in preparing me for my career. I’m currently seeking employment opportunities that will allow me to utilize the knowledge and training that I have received from Herzing University.
My advice for others is to take it one day at a time and do not stop until you accomplish your goal. All the hard work will be worth it once you receive your degree.
