I was inspired to go to Herzing because it seemed like a great start to finding my place in the medical field. Even though I didn't really know where to look, Herzing got me started on my career path quickly. I was originally in the Medical Assisting program but eventually decided to switch to the Medical Office Administration program. This program suited my needs better, and I have been satisfied with my decision.
My boyfriend and my family were very supportive of me throughout my journey. The biggest challenge I routinely faced was trying to get both my work and schoolwork done, but Herzing always helped me get my assignments completed. Even though I struggled from time to time, Herzing never gave up on me. All my classes readied me for my career, but I think my case study class prepared me the most. It took everything I learned over the last two years and put it all into one class, which was great.
My advice to future students would be to not burn yourself out too early and pace yourself. Don't hold everything off until Sunday! Right now, I'm not sure what is next for me, but I'm sure the path will eventually become clear!
