When I was laid off from a previous employer, I knew that it was time for a career change. I wanted to get into a new career that I would enjoy and that was also rewarding. I've always enjoyed helping others and have been fascinated by the human body, so I knew that nursing was right for me.
Herzing offered an accelerated nursing program so I decided it was the right fit. My clinicals were vital (pun intended) to my success in nursing and I learned so much as a student. All staff has been wonderful, but Mr. Tibbs has been one of the more influential roles for me. Right now, I am pursuing my career as an RN, but I would like to get my BSN. Although it is sometimes hard, getting your education is worth it in the end. Keep pushing through!
