I had already worked in the medical field for a while, and one of my goals was to work at a children's hospital. With that in mind, I started to research schools where I could gain the education necessary for such a workplace, and that’s when I found Herzing. Their admissions team was wonderful and made me feel confident that this was the school for me, so I jumped in.
During my studies, I found the staff and teachers at Herzing to be very helpful. I was lucky to have my family’s support as well, which is always a great thing to have.
During my education, I faced quite a few challenges. This included relocating to another state and having COVID three times, but I ultimately pulled through! Of course, Herzing went above and beyond with their help, which really helped me stay successful.
In general, I’d say that all my classes and externship experiences were valuable. I felt that they all helped prepare me for my career path and can’t wait to apply what I’ve learned to my future positions.
After graduation, I plan on returning to school so that I can become an RN!
