I needed a school with an accelerated program that would accept most of my transfer credits, have an acceptable level of prerequisites and had a location close to home. Herzing met all my needs, so I decided to attend their program.
While studying, I had two great teachers that I’d love to give shout-outs. A huge thank you to both professors for your professionalism and the knowledge you shared to help me be successful!
Ms. Lurie is hands-down the best teacher at Herzing: she knows her stuff and knows how to keep the class entertained so that you stay focused. Thanks to her, I learned so much about OB/Peds in such a short timeframe.
I also had a great experience with Ms. Donahoo. So much of what I learned during my studies was due to her. She is so smart, but also tough enough to push you forward when it’s needed. I enjoyed the time I spent learning with her and couldn’t have made it through the program without her help!
Managing time, life and outside influences were the biggest challenges I faced as a student, but it is doable! I’d say that the key to success at Herzing is time management! It can come in handy quite often, especially when things get overwhelming near the end of the program.
