After spending twelve years in the healthcare industry, I felt it was time to take the next step and go to nursing school. Herzing was recommended by my coworkers, so I decided to give it a try. The two-year accelerated program seemed to have everything I needed, and I dove right into my studies.
To Professor Tinsley, Winters, Olen and Allison: thank you for always being there to guide me and push me when I needed it. I had been kicked out of my home during my program and wouldn’t have been able to stay on track without your support.
While I initially wanted to be a pediatric nurse, I’ve changed my mind and decided to stay in the Surgical ICU. This program helped me improve my situation and meet some wonderful people. I’m so glad I never gave up on my dreams!
