I picked a career in criminal justice because of everything going on in our nation. I thought I could make a difference somewhere down the road right in my own community. A friend was the one who referred me to Herzing and told me how it was the perfect school for me.
The online program is hard, but I learned that if you want something, you will do whatever it takes to accomplish your goal. The statistics class gave me a run for my money, but because of my great classmates and teacher, I was able to pass the course. Herzing also accepted some of my transfer credits from my previous college so that I could complete my studies in a reasonable amount of time.
My community health course helped me prepare to rebuild parts of my community and now I’m seriously considering pursuing my master’s degree in criminal justice.
