I came to Herzing because I wanted to attend a school that educated great nurses. This campus has a successful track record of preparing students for the NCLEX. I also wanted to get into a program without a waitlist and Herzing was the best choice for me.
My biggest challenge was balancing a full-time job with school and my family. Herzing helped me by creating the pathway of courses I needed to complete my degree within 3 semesters or one full year.
All of my courses and clinical experiences were valuable in preparing me for my career. I am currently working as a postpartum nurse in critical care and working to attain my master's degree as a family nurse practitioner (MSN-FNP) in the next 2 to 3 years.
Nursing is not always glamorous, but it is extremely rewarding. If your heart is in the place of helping those in need, pursue a nursing degree at Herzing.
