I enrolled in the MSN-Nursing Leadership program since it was offered through my job.
Mother/Baby clinical experiences were valuable in preparing me for my career. It really gave me a different perspective on how to handle different situations with different age groups. The staff I work with now is more seasoned, and my approach is different, so it was a great experience for me.
I was amazed by the amount of age related deaths that the nurse have to deal with, and the emotion and compassion they give their patients afterwards. It is so amazing!
Success is a journey, not a destination; stay calm under pressure, think long term, and spend some time at the beach. Self-care is very important during this. Stay focused, relaxed, and enjoy the journey.
