I knew I wanted a job in the healthcare field, but I didn’t want to be a nurse or any type of clinician. Instead, I wanted to work on the backend and found that Health Information was the perfect fit for me. I had originally started classes at another school, but I experienced many difficulties and ended up becoming discouraged. This is why I decided to search for another school, and Herzing was the first that came up in my search. It felt as if it was meant to be, so I clicked the link and began to search for more information. Herzing seemed to address all my previous concerns, so I gave them a call to start the process of becoming a student.
Herzing’s classes are divided into eight weeks, and this helped me complete my degree quickly. Although it was challenging, my advisor was always one call away and made sure I had everything I needed to be successful. Whenever I missed an assignment or struggled in a class, she personally called me with resources to help improve my situation. I never had that happen before and I am so grateful that I chose to attend this school. I don't believe I could have made a better choice – thank you, Herzing!
