While I knew that I had an interest in the medical field, I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to do. Once I gave Medical Billing and Coding a shot, I knew that I wanted to work on the administrative side of healthcare. I liked everything the course had to offer, and everyone was both wonderful and helpful!
The program and professors helped challenge me to understand the material. For me, the most difficult portion of my classes was the discussions. While I found it hard to figure out what to say, the deadlines were acceptable and helped me learn. The same can also be said about the rest of my work!
None of the work was ever randomly thrown at me, and I always knew what and when assignments were due ahead of time. I’d also say that all my courses played an important role in teaching me valuable skills.
When thinking back on my studies, it surprises me how much interest I’ve developed in healthcare. I never thought I’d be as intrigued as I am, and now I’m planning to further my education at Herzing in Healthcare Administration!
