
Brand new programs with a focus on either IT/Networking or security technology are being offered at Herzing University - Akron. The 36 to 48-month bachelor’s degree program will prepare students for a range of positions in the field, including IT/Networking specialists or managers, network designers or administrators, systems analysts, and technical support specialists, among other possibilities. The associate degree in IT/Networking can be completed in 20 to 24 months.
“We aim to stay one step ahead of the technological curve,” said David LaRue, campus president. “These new programs will help our students stay relevant.”
A minimum of 62 semester credit hours is required for graduation from the associate degree program, and 122 semester credit hours are required for the bachelor’s program.
