Herzing University Becomes Corporate Sponsor of DFW Veterans Chamber of Commerce

Herzing University, a private, nonprofit university founded in 1965 by U.S. Navy veteran Henry Herzing, is deepening its commitment to the military community as a corporate sponsor of the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) Veterans Chamber of Commerce. As a sponsor, Herzing supports the chamber’s mission to uplift and unify active-duty military communities, transitioning service members and veterans through business, employment and education.

The sponsorship comes as Herzing University expands its presence, announcing its Dallas campus earlier this year. The Dallas campus is Herzing’s newest location, offering one of the fastest pathways in the country for military medics and paramedics to become registered nurses through its Medic-to-ASN and BSN bridge programs, which grant college credit for military training and experience.

"For more than 60 years, Herzing University has been committed to uplifting the military community in their next mission," said Pamela Fabela, director of campus operations. "We look forward to carrying that same dedication through our partnership with the DFW Veterans Chamber as Herzing continues to expand the communities it serves."

Herzing prides itself on the flexible pathways designed for the mobile military lifestyle, with online programs in nursing, healthcare, business, technology, behavioral health and public safety. As a Yellow Ribbon Ready university, Herzing accepts and maximizes GI Bill benefits and provides Military Appreciation Grants to help lower tuition and fees for qualifying students.

In 2026, Herzing was named a 2026-27 Gold Military Friendly® School and Military Spouse Friendly® School, placing it among the top-ranked schools in the Military Friendly Schools program.
