Representatives of the Herzing University Enterprise Learning team exhibited at the Midwest Security & Police Conference on August 20-21, 2013 in Tinley Park, Illinois. The 2013 Conference included presentations from the FBI, Homeland Security, social media experts, cyber-crime specialists and State & Local law enforcement professionals.
“It really takes a special person to be in the public safety industry. I have much respect and appreciation for our public safety professionals,” said Enterprise Learning Consultant, Leanne Kostrewa. “Herzing acknowledges their commitment, dedication and risk to protect their communities. The Badge to Grad Scholarship is one small way that Herzing says “thank you” for everything they do.”
“The value of the expo to our members is three-fold: high-quality education, networking with other members, and exhibitors. The ILACP wanted to bring law enforcement and the private sector together to provide not only educational opportunities for law enforcement, but to expose them to new technologies that can benefit law enforcement around the state.” -Mr. John Kennedy, Executive Director of the Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police, Illinois Cops.
