Herzing University-Minneapolis Nursing Students Give Back to the Community

Members of the Herzing University- Minneapolis Student Nurses Association (SNA) recently volunteered at the V.E.A.P food pantry. V.E.A.P, which stands for Volunteer Enlisted to Assist People, is a local basic needs organization that offers programs to increase access to healthy foods, social services, housing stability and supportive services.

“We’re very proud of our nursing students for volunteering their time to give back to the community,” said nursing professor Christy Larson, “Our students were able to see first-hand how local organizations like V.E.A.P can positively impact the lives of others, and they are excited to volunteer here again.”
