Herzing University-Brookfield recently held its third annual Winter Wonderland campus and community event, organized by the student-run President’s Council and Student Nurses Association. Herzing students and area residents were treated to a free pancake breakfast, followed by a cookie decorating competition and games and raffle prizes for all ages. The morning was capped off by a visit from Santa Claus (Student Services Director Jeff Ramsey), who listened to children’s wish lists and handed out candy canes to all.
Herzing-Brookfield also sponsored three local families through the Waukesha Christmas Clearing Council, and children of each family received gift donations from Herzing at the Winter Wonderland event.
Way to go, Herzing-Brookfield, for making the spirit of the holiday season meaningful for our students and the community!
