Herzing University-Brookfield students and faculty started school this week at a brand new campus at Brookfield Square.
The building – which is about one mile from the previous Brookfield campus – was renovated over the summer, and features upgraded classrooms and common areas, in addition to more nursing labs and a larger physical therapy assisting clinic.
“We wanted to make sure this is a place where our students feel comfortable, and their initial reaction has been great,” said Herzing-Brookfield Campus President Jarvis Racine. “They’re excited about our expanded simulation rooms, our upgraded common areas and the easy access to the campus. They have also mentioned the oversized windows which allow for a lot of natural light, as well as our huddle rooms which are great for studying and group work.”
A grand opening celebration is being planned for this fall.
