Herzing University Celebrates 258 Florida Graduates at Spring 2026 Commencement and Pinning Ceremony

As communities across the country continue to face a critical demand for qualified nurses, Herzing University is helping build the local pipeline of compassionate, skilled healthcare professionals. Earlier this month, Herzing honored 258 nursing graduates at its Summer 2026 Commencement and Pinning Ceremony at the Orange County Convention Center – Chaplin Theatre. The pinning ceremony is a time-honored tradition, a symbol of their commitment to patient care and the nursing profession.

This summer’s class joins more than 6,170 graduates across the institution’s Tampa and Orlando campuses, in addition to the online division, who have earned their degrees from Herzing University to date.

“Every nurse crossing this stage today has answered a call that Florida communities urgently need met,” said LeShawn Roberts, Regional Vice President of Operations in Florida. “We are committed to developing healthcare professionals who are ready to serve from day one — right here in the neighborhoods and hospitals that need them most.”

Herzing University is proud to graduate approximately 800 new nurses this spring commencement season, adding to the total of 12,000 nurses who have graduated over its 60-year history.
