As President of Herzing University’s Milwaukee area campus in Brookfield, I have the great privilege of leading a team of caring, supportive and dedicated faculty and staff. So, whether you are a first-time college student, a transfer student from one of our many community education partners, a military veteran, or a career changer; know that we are here to help you realize new possiblilities!

Herzing & Habitat For Humanity Build

The Brookfield Campus and President’s Council are presenting an upcoming volunteer opportunity with the Waukesha Habitat 4 Humanity. We invite you to take some time to sign up for a shift on Saturday 10/22. This is a real opportunity to come together as a campus and show what we can accomplish in our local community while helping those in need.  If time is a factor, you can even sign up for just an  AM or PM shift if you can’t work all day. So there is ample opportunity to help.   Please see the details below and sign up for a shift at the Front Desk before 10/15. See me with any questions. Thank you! Date: Saturday, October 22nd Time:  9am-4pm - lunch break at noon (or AM shift 9-12pm/PM Shift 1-4) What to Wear:  Closed-toe and closed-heel shoes, pants, t-shirt.  Please dress for the weather as you may be working outside! What to Bring:  All tools and safety equipment are provided, but volunteers are welcome to bring their own (e.g. tool belt, hammer, work gloves, safety glasses). Lunch is not provided, so volunteers should bring their own and plenty of water. Safety and Expected Work:  Our construction team will be on site to greet volunteers, provide safety training and tasks to complete. All volunteers will need to complete and sign the liability waiver before building. Our construction schedule is so fluid, but I will be able to tell you the expected work about a week in advance.

What I like most about Herzing is that a lot of the schools for massage therapy seem like they were more about the money rather than teaching you what you need career-wise. Here, at Herzing, they treat you as an individual. Here. if you have a question, professors will stop what they are doing and make sure you know what you need to know to be successful.
